Windows 2008 R2

- Not affected

Windows 2012 with .NET Framework 4.5.x

Recommended solution:

  1. Install .NET Framework 4.6.1 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49981)
  2. Run Microsoft Windows Update and apply latest patches

Alternatively:

  1. Remove 3210138 MS16-155: Description of the Security and Quality Rollup for the .NET Framework 4.5.2 for Windows Server 2012: December 13, 2016

Windows 2012 with .NET Framework 4.6.x

  1. Run Microsoft Windows Update again and apply latest patches which will fix this issue

Windows 2012 R2 with .NET Framework 4.5.x

Recommended solution:

  1. Install .NET Framework 4.6.1 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49981)
  2. Run Microsoft Windows Update and apply latest patches

Alternatively:

  1. Remove 3210137 MS16-155: Description of the Security and Quality Rollup for the .NET Framework 4.5.2 for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2: December 13, 2016

Windows 2012 R2 with .NET Framework 4.6.x

  1. Run Microsoft Windows Update again and apply latest patches which will fix this issue

  2. Remove 3195388 - November 2016 Preview of Quality Rollup for the .NET Framework 4.6 on Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2, and 4.6 and 4.6.1 on Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (KB3195388): November 15, 2016

Windows 2012

  1. Remove 3195383 - November 2016 Preview of Quality Rollup for the .NET Framework 3.5, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1 on Windows Server 2012 (KB3195383): November 15, 2016

or Windows Update 3195383 includes 3195362 and 3195386. Remove these if individually listed.

Microsoft Windows Updates and please confirm the windows update status and disable auto updates for Microsoft
products as otherwise the just uninstalled Microsoft Windows Updates might be installed again.
